WALT ask literal and inferential questions

SC:

  • Read the text
  • Identify key ideas you can ask questions about
  • Ask literal questions where the answer is easy to find
  • Ask inferential questions where the answer has to be read between the lines

On this lesson we had to read a book and during it we had to look for questions with were literal, literal is a question and the answer would say it Inferential means a question which is hard and doesn't say the answer with it. As you can see the example is on the top and then you'll understand Literal and Inferential Task.

Maths Reflections Term 4 2k17

WALT: Find fractions of a set.

On Wednesday we did fractions with Mr.Edwards and Karena on this lesson we had to answer a question(Example) I got a birthday cake for my 20th birthday, if i cut it into 4 equal pieces and each piece had an equal number of candles. How many candles were on each piece? My answer was 1/4 of 20 = 5 so the answer was 5 Candles on each cake piece and after that we had a game with fractions on the dice the point of the game is if i rolled the dice and it was a half then it will be like half of 8 = 4 so that means i'll move 4 spaces.
